Great experience learning about bees life cycle and the process of making honey. We were well looked after by Luke who also made the experience enjoyable.

Wonderful experience days covering both beekeeping and wax candle making, fun and extremely informative. Bought lovely candles and a jar of their award winning honey from the shop at the end. The honey is so delicious and on the website you can place a regular order to be delivered to your door!

What an amazing experience. Loved it. Luke and Jo really made it a great day and looked after us.
Luke explained the history of bee keeping and how it’s done today.
I was a bit nervous first of all. But he puts you at ease.
I have a disability and he always made sure I was ok.
Jo kept us all happy with teas and coffee. Then at the end she fed us. Then they gave us a great little gift bag.
I can highly recommend this experience. Nice and friendly place and a great couple.
Thanks guys.

The day started with Luke showing us a frame of bees that he had bought up from the hive that morning and talking about bees, their lifecycles, the different casts within a colony , swarming and how they feed and produce honey. We then put our suits and went to look at the hives, this was so amazing. The bees were so calm and unconcerned with us, they are truly remarkable creatures. We then came back and had lunch with lots of fresh honey, still on the frame, the most delicious honey I have ever had. He finished the day with candle making which was really good fun. We went as a family including my 11 year old son, excellent day, value for money and really interesting. Thank you Luke for making us so welcome at Bramble Farm and we all had a great time.

I had such a lovely time at Bramble Farm. It was great to learn all about the bees and to understand the life of bees. Luke is very knowledgeable and is really passionate about what he does. You can be as hands on as you like, depending on how brave you feel. Lovely Jo made us some lunch and of course we had fresh honey too. I did the full day so also made bees wax candles, which is so satisfying to do. We all got a goodie bag at the end and I bought some honey and mead to take home. I would highly recommend this experience Thank you Luke and Jo 🐝🐝🐝 😊
