Bramble Farm Bees is a small family-run bee farm in Detling, nestled in the North Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Our bees forage across ancient chalk downland, wildflower meadows and traditional orchards — producing some of the finest raw honey in Kent. We sell direct from our farm, with no blending, no heat treatment and no supermarket middlemen.
Our Kent Apiaries
We keep 35+ hives across five apiaries spread across the North Kent Downs. Our bees forage across chalk grassland, ancient woodland, orchards and hedgerows — giving our honey its distinctive floral character and rich flavour that changes subtly with the seasons. Every jar is traceable to our own hives. We never blend with imported honey.
Our Raw Kent Honey
Wildflower Honey
Our signature raw wildflower honey captures the full range of Kent’s hedgerows and meadows. Lightly cloudy, with a complex, gently floral flavour. Available in 227g, 340g and 454g jars, and in larger 1.5kg and 3.5kg buckets for bakers and catering.
Soft Set Honey
Our soft set honey is gently churned to create a smooth, spreadable texture — perfect for toast and cooking. Same raw, local Kent honey, just with a creamier consistency.
Cut Comb Honey
Cut comb honey is harvested directly from the hive — wax and all. The most unprocessed form of honey you can buy, with a rich, intensely floral flavour.
Why Buy Local Kent Honey?
- Traceable origin — you know exactly which farm, which bees, which landscape
- Raw and unprocessed — supermarket honey is typically pasteurised, destroying natural enzymes
- Genuinely fresh — harvested and jarred within weeks, not months or years
- Supports local beekeepers — helping maintain healthy bee populations across Kent

Our Hive Partners
We are proud to work with a small number of organisations who share our commitment to supporting pollinators and improving local biodiversity. As part of these partnerships, we manage dedicated apiaries on their land — and supply them with honey from their own hives.
Gallagher Construction, Aylesford
Gallagher operate a quarry on Hermitage Lane, Aylesford, near Maidstone. As part of their long-term ecological restoration programme, they are rewilding tens of acres of former quarry land with wildflower meadows and mixed coppice — creating some of the most pristine, unsprayed foraging habitat in Kent. We manage an apiary on-site, and Gallagher’s team enjoy honey harvested directly from their own rewilded estate.
Mid-Kent Golf Course, Gravesend
Mid-Kent Golf Course in Gravesend has made a genuine commitment to improving biodiversity across their grounds. We manage an apiary set in the heart of the course — benefiting from the quiet, pesticide-light environment — and supply the club with honey from their own hives.
Pumpkin Moon
Pumpkin Moon are a valued apiary partner, working with us to support local pollinators as part of their wider commitment to sustainability.
